Details: HIGH TEMP MATERIALS Print with heat resistant composites, such as carbon-filled Ultem or PEEK. Experiment with other high performance polymers requiring up to 500 degrees Celcius. NON-STICK COATING Get smoother, cleaner prints with the non-stick chromium nitride coating – originally developed for the plastic extrusion industry. ONE NOZZLE The Olsson Ruby High Temp will work with a huge range of materials like PLA, ABS, CPE/PET, Nylon, and high performance composites with abrasive additives such as carbon fiber filled PEEK & Ultem HIGHLY WEAR RESISTANT The ruby mounted at the tip makes sure that even the toughest materials will be printable. It was originally designed for printing with Boron Carbide (B4C), the third hardest known material in the world. EXCELLENT HEAT CONDUCTIVITY The Olsson Ruby High Temp sports an even higher thermal performance than its brass counterpart, with a body made from high conductive copper alloy, performance and throughput is first-class. VERIFIED PERFORMANCE People all over the world have been testing different iterations of the ruby nozzle since early 2016. We are very happy to have received only good printing results from this community. SPEED By using the 0.6 and 0.8mm versions of the Olsson Ruby High Temp it is possible to reach a higher throughput for abrasive materials, while retaining wear-resistance and reliability.
