Made from 99.9% high-purity silicon carbide with a Mohs hardness of 9.8 for exceptional wear resistance. Suitable for all filament types, from standard PLA to high-temperature and abrasive composites such as carbon fiber materials. Rated for printing temperatures up to 300 °C with high thermal conductivity for consistent heating. DLC-coated surface with a friction coefficient of 0.05 to help reduce sticking and support clean, stable extrusion. Manufacturer data indicates a service life up to 7× longer than standard hardened steel nozzles.
